I really enjoyed it! It may not be for everyone since the plot is a bit bizare. I found it fascinating and everyone (not just Michael Crawford) had fabulous voices. The special affects were also terrific. The time flew! I plan on seeing it again in February or so. Michael Crawford is simply amazing and really gives his all! For $65 it is VERY worth it! My in-laws have tickets to see it New Years Day Night and they paid $95 per ticket in Row S Orchestra.

This is a tough call. I saw this production on November 29 at the matinee and it is still trying to find its' identity. There are moments that are very good and there are moments that need to be removed (they're still in previews until 12/9). There are better musicals out there (Hairspray, Millie and The Producers come to mind) but those tickets are more difficult to come by. All in all, if you are up to a little sophomoric humor, some over the top acting and scenes (the ones with Count von Krolock's son come to mind), this is a reasonably enjoyable show that I do not expect to become a classic.
