Attending convention at Doubletree, the hotel itself is sold out. I have been looking at the Marriott website, there are 56 hotels in Dallas! We have never been to Dalls, does anybody know if there is a Marriott convenient to this Doubletree? It looks like it is close to the Galleria.

The Doubletree is at the corner of Valley View Lane and Midway Road just off LBJ Frwy(I-635).Midway Rd is north-south.If you keep going north on Midway Rd 1.5 miles to Proton Road, the Courtyard by Marriott is on the northwest corner of the Midway Rd/Proton Rd intersection.The Doubletree is couple of miles west of the Galleria itself.Not walking distance tho.If you keep going north on Midway Rd from the Courtyard, you will hit Belt Line Rd, restaurant row for miles.Enjoy!!

If you want t true Marriott, there is the Marriott Addison Quorun on the service road of the Dallas North Tollway southbound.Its about 2 or so miles from the Counrtyard on Midway/Proton Rds.
