Rather than just send this to the top, I've got a couple of questions. What/where is Crescent City? When I think of CC, I think New Orleans. Is that right?

In terms of where to stay, are you looking for hotel, B&B, for how long, what price range?

Google "Hampton Inn Crescent City," and I think you'll find what you're looking for. We stayed at the Best Western a few years ago, and it was nothing special. Now, when we pass through town, I always think that I'd stay in the Hamton Inn if I were to stay a Crescent City in the future.

I think you mean Crescent City, CA, right? The Hampton Inn and Suites, mentioned above advertises itself as "Crescent City's Only Oceanfront Hotel". But Anchor Beach Inn advertises "Spectacular Ocean and Bay Views". Both are rated three-diamond by AAA. Anchor Beach is a little less expensive.
