Way back in the early 1990s I stayed at the Days Inn, don't know if there are 2 of them in one beach town. If you are talking of the one I stayed at it is extremely easy to walk to the beach, no roads to cross you just walk out your door and up some steps/ramp and you are at the beach/boardwalk. By the way I highly suggest Chatterbox for breakfast, their stawberry Belgian waffles with strawberries and whipped cream are delicious.

thank you ...thank you...
I am also struggling because I realize now that alot of these places in OC,NJ
does NOT have 1800 numbers to call for reservations ... I do not live in U.S.A.
which makes it harder on me... I am on a tight budget and seems that I will actually have to call long distance to enquire about their rates...dates..etc...
thanks again for the ocean 7 info

Most of the motels in OC are mom and pops (not chains) and located in the same block,
i.e. not ocean front but you don't have to cross a street to get to the ocean.
There are smaller businesses located between most of the motels and the ocean, but its only a short walk (two minutes or less).
Have a great time, you will love it there wherever you stay.
