Courtyard Fisherman's Wharf
We are having a heck of a time getting a hotel in SF. We are kind of location specific as we want to be near my sisters house (Marina/Cow Hollow).
We have decided to stay at the Fisherman's Wharf. Does anyone have any idea about the Courtyard marriott. ? I am looking for any ideas and comments.

I just looked it up - obviously don't know anything about the hotel (since I didn''t even know it existed), but are you trying to be walking distance from your sister? Have you tried the motels along Lombard Street (Chelsea Motor Inn, Cow Hollow Suites)?

I Googled street view - you will be across from Spy Shop
Deb... don't tell me we'll take vacations at the same time! It will be what, our 3rd attempt to meet? We're out of SF January 6-17, when are you coming?

We stayed at a Courtyard in Indiana for a night last week. It was new, just opened in March. I was told by an employee that Courtyard is changing to this new look. If the Courtyard you're going to Deb advertises that it's been remodled, maybe it's the same as the new ones. They've taken away the complimentary breakfast, replacing it with a Bistro that serves breakfast items until 11:00am, and then opening again for dinner with a limited menu. They provided inside and outside seating. They had a library of sorts with 3 computers for guests to use free of charge and wireless in the rooms. A small work out room (three treadmills) a pool, and hot tub. The room was spacious with lots of desk area, a flatscreen TV and a very comfortable bed with white comforter. A marble bath with shower only. No tub which did not bother me as I always shower. A small thing that bothered me was that they did not provide a mat for the floor when exiting the shower and the floor was tile and could be slippery. The in room coffee pot was one cup at a time but they served coffee and tea in the business/library area 24hrs. They also had a small fridge in the room.

My wife and I stayed at the Courtyard Fisherman's Wharf last year.
As the name implies, it was very convenient to the wharf. There's parking right next to the hotel. Nothing extraordinary, but the room was clean. Because the hotel was full, we were put in a room set up for a disabled person--railings in the bathroom, and the bathroom was larger than normal to accommodate a wheelchair. This made the main part of the room smaller than normal, but it was still large enough for the two of us.
They found a jacket I'd left in the closet and mailed it to my home, so that was nice.
We'd have no problem staying there again. Hope this helps!
