As stated before, there are two sections of Hotel Breakers: The original building with quaint, but outdated rooms, and the Breakers East/Breakers Tower section, with new, large (2 queens usually), Courtyard by Marriott-quality rooms. Theyre not cheap, usually about $220+ per night during the peak season.

One more thing about Breakers Express...I think we were able to buy discount entrance tickets to the park at the hotel. There was some other "lure" to why we stayed there vs. a non-park hotel, but can't remember the specifics. I think it was a break on the tickets, though.

I went to Cedar Point in Sept. 03 with some family. We stayed at the Breakers Express. It is a fairly new hotel (within last few years). They have a nice big pool area and hottub. The rooms come with two queen beds and were very clean and tidy. We paid $79.00 per night. Good thing - Breakers Express is one of the Cedar Point hotels/resorts so you get to go into the park before the rest of the general public. If you have children and they are still in the nap age, you may want to stay at one of the hotels on-site so that you can go back to your room. I had my 15 month old with me, who still naps, and I just walked her around the park and she fell asleep. I walked along the water and it was quiet and she got in a good 1 1/2 hour nap. Hope this helps some.
