Milwaukee -- Brewers game...need hotel suggestions
Hello
A friend has his company's box for a Brewers game and invited us to come out and go. We need a hotel for one night that is centrally located to the stadium as well as somewhat family friendly (we have three young boys). We will only be sleeping there so it doesn't need to have many amenities other than beds, cleanliness and safe. Any suggestions?
Thanks

There are no decent hotels right near Miller Park. One of the closest is the Ambassador, which has been restored to its Art Deco glory. www.ambassadormilwaukee.com
Downtown is pretty close to Miller Park, and there is a Residence Inn there, which is good for a family.

Are you driving or flying to Milwaukee? There are no motels in the Miller Park area that I would want to stay.
There are some nice hotels if you check Brookfield WI hotels on tripadvisor. Country Inn and Suites might be a good location as it is close to I-94. YOu can take I-94 east to Miller Park.

I second the Brookfield suggestion. We usually stay at the Hampton Inn whenever we go to Milwaukee. It is just off of Bluemound Rd right next to the freeway. It is easy access to any place in town and just a straight shot to Miller Park.

This is where we stayed the last time we went up overnight for a Brewer's game:

It worked very well for us. It's not far from Miller Park, a good choice for families and included one of the best breakfasts we've ever had at a chain.

Really, Abram? The airport one? It was right off the interstate and when we got back on, Miller Park was just an exit or two away. But then, that's been a while so maybe I'm confused. And we were there for the game, not to experience Milwaukee (which we've been to many times).
I just know that we chose it because we'd waited too late. It was the weekend of one of the festivals and most everything was booked. But we were very glad we wound up there as we liked it much better than anywhere else we've stayed in Milwaukee.

I apologize for saying it, CAPH, but you are confused--but just about this one little thing, I'm sure. That hotel is right at the airport, which is about 8 miles south of DT, and Miller Park is about 4 miles west of DT, so the hotel to Miller Park is 12 miles. Brookfield is about 8-9 miles west of Miller Park.

Oh, trust me, abram, I'm confused about much more than that!
But the hotel website says it's 7 miles from Miller Park. Maybe it has something to do with which side of the airport it's on?
Anyway, I'll defer to your better judgement, abram, as I assume you're from Milwaukee.

Hi Taitai,
Perhaps check out the Crowne Plaza. My mom and her cronies are staying there for the game on Sept 26th. It is a nice new hotel and they have a shuttle that takes you to the front door of the stadium and picks you back up again!
