Coronado Restaurants?
Hi, all - we're going to be taking a trip to Coronado and would love to get your restaurant recommendations. We love good Mexican food, sangria, fresh seafood, fish tacos, a tasty burger, outdoor dining, anything on the water or with a nice view, good spots for breakfast, and places to go for ice cream or gelato. Doesn't have to be fancy, just someplace with good food and a little charm? Thanks for any guidance you can give me!

There is no shortage of good places to eat in Coronado, including Miguels.
A few of my favorites are:
Peohes' is on the bay. Very nice, not cheap.
My favorite fish tacos are at Brigantine.
Coronado Brewery has great burgers and beer.
Blue water Boathouse just opened recently. On the water of Glorietta Bay (across from the Hotel Del), Fabulous seafood. Not cheap, but worth it.
For breakfast, I like Villa Nueva, and their lunch sandwiches are also good.
Clayton Diner for breakfast.
Tartine coffee shop/bistro. I like to eat there in the morning; have never tried it at night.
Tent city. Have lunch on the patio and watch people go by.
MooTime Creamery is the place for ice cream
Chez Loma is an old time favorite for a nice French meal.
McP's Irish pub for drinks and live music.
Almost all of the above have outdoor seating.

Burger Lounge is very popular and I love their food which is much more affordable like you mentioned!
My DH & I just had dinner last week at Chez Loma (we hadn't been for probably 20 plus years). It is a lovely place to have good food in a quiet atmosphere and they have excellent service (at least we did). We didn't know about it, but there is a happy hour meal that is much cheaper (I don't know the specifics) but I would call ahead of time and ask them.

nana, thanks for the tip on that. We'll have to save it for our next trip because we're back home now.
We did make it to Moo Time Creamery, and it was really good too. We loved everything we did; I know we'll be going back! I really appreciate all the good suggestions.

For future reference this place was just featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives. It is in Ocean Beach - I've never been but DH & I are planning a trip soon!

Grass fed beef, local ingredients, etc. Very tasty!
