Have only been to evening events at Copia - all wonderful. Check their calendar. Friday nights is Movie Night, usually a great movie in their terrific indoor theatre with complimentary wine tasting beforehand. There are often fabulous shows/performances in the theater or outdoors in the amphitheater. Check www.copia.org

We stopped in briefly this past March before our lunch at Cindy's in St. Helena, it is very nice. We want to plan on a couple of hours here next visit. Very nice gift shop here with a great selection of cookbooks. There is also Julia's Kitchen where we will have lunch next time.
There are half hour classes you can take also with admission, wine tasting and much more. A really cool place for foodies and wine lovers. ***kim***

Personally I think Copia is both boring and over rated, which is maybe why they are having a hard time surviving. Its hard to know what they are trying to accomplish. I guess its worth a short one time visit just to say you have seen it.

I think it's important to check out their class and presentation schedules before you go. When we went we just missed some interesting things and I didn't feel like seeing the exhibits only was worth the price of admission. The gardens outside were nice, though.
