Two of the three--they are all nice, but as I recall, the Polo (?) is a little removed from the beach?

Grand Champions is set back and slightly uphill next to a golf course across the street from other ocean front condos. We stayed there two years ago and thought they were clean, quiet, safe and a reasonable value$), here is a link to our trip report: http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...1&tid=34456218

Polo is right on the beach. The other two are not.

Thanks! After looking at my papers, I certainly did NOT stay at the Polo Club--maybe next time!

Polo Beach Club has one of the best locations in Wailea. It is oceanfront, and shares the great sandy beach with Kea Lani Resort. It's nice to walk over to Kea Lani for pupus and drinks.
Palms at Wailea has spacious grounds and large lanais. One drawback is that there is only pool, and it can be quite a walk from some of the units. Grand Champions has two pools. Some of the units have lovely golf course/distant ocean views. Both Grand Champions and Palms are farther than I would care to walk to the beach. Fantastic beaches just a 5 minute drive, though. Rates should be significantly less expensive at Grand Champions or Palms. One other consideration for anyone with mobility problems- Polo Beach Club has elevators and the other two do not.

One thing to note about the Polo that may be important for you if you like to grill outside...there are NO barbeques on the lanais of the Polo Club, you must use the communal grills on the lawn area. Have you checked out Wailea Elua or Makena Surf? We've stayed at both and really liked them.
