Condos in San Diego?

Does anyone stay in or can recommend a condo for vacationing in San Diego? Preferably on the beach and with a pool. We have stayed in a hotel in LaJolla before, and would really prefer to find a condo to rent for a week.

Thanks

We stayed at the Capri By The Sea in Pacific Beach, however it was quite some time ago. Excellent location at the north end of the Mission/Pacific Beach boardwalk, within walking distance to many restaurants/stores. Not the greatest pool, but it has one. All units are oceanfront views. I would suggest checking some recent reviews on this property to insure they continue to be well-maintained.

Probably more than half of South Mission Beach is condo rental. They usually rent by the week. They run fron 1200 to 3000 for a two bed, two bath. The more expensive is by the beach or bay, with the views. I think if you do a search on Mission Beach you will find lots of vacation rental sights.

I do not know of any condo or condo units that have pools. Most of the rentals are three or four to a unit. If you want a pool, stick with a hotel or resort...

sceneisle, that condo looks nice. Similiar to a condo we stay at in Florida, but a smaller pool. At least it does have a pool.

More suggestions like that would be great.

Amelie - If memory serves me correctly (and it's been quite a few years), the 1-BR units were pretty good size. Unfortunately and to my knowledge, this is the only complex in the area that's on the beach and has a pool. Good Luck.
