Condo's in Ka'anapali

Hello: I would love some advice about 3 bedroom condo's in Ka'anapali. My family is going there next November and I am having trouble finding a 3 bedroom condo for as much as it would cost to rent a 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom condo seperately.

www.expedia.com Use OGG for airport code or Maui for city.

www.vrbo.com

www.bookit.com

www.hawaii-hotels.com Scroll to the bottom and where it says VISIT, click on Maui condos.

Lots of Maui info:

If you go up the road from Ka'anapali, just a little bit, you will hit Napili. You're probably only talking a 6 to 8 minute drive to Ka'anapali, and there are reasonable condos on the beach. One place that we've stayed in and liked is Napili Sunset. Website:

I can't recommend one for you to try but I can recommend one for you not to try and that would be the Maui El Dorado. The location was fine but the rooms were not nor was the staff. Let us just say my wife and I had a guest in our room that ate our food at night. Quite a bit of it and we could see the giant bite marks.

If you're willing to consider staying someplace other than Ka'anapali, try the Puamana townhomes just south of Lahaina - I've stayed in a 3 BR OF there & loved it. I've also stayed at the Ka'anapali Ali'i & also loved it, but don't think they have 3 BR units.

We stayed in unit 220 at the Hale Kai - just up the road a very little ways from Ka'anapali. It had a bedroom with a king bed, and a bedroom w/ 2 wtin beds on the main level. The shared bathroom was spacious enough. There is also a loft with either a double or queen bed and a small bathroom. It is a corner unit with views on 2 sides. We were very happy there. The laundry facilities were close and reasonably priced and parking was included in the room cost.

I was also going to suggest Napili Sunset. Have a fabulous time! (But remember, no apostrophe in a plural noun!)
