Rubies, congratulations, Now you can relax, and plan the rest of your trip.
I love the Kahana area of Maui (usually stay just down the beach from the Kahana Reef at the Royal Kahana). Good snorkeling just north of there, nearer to Kapalua.

We rented for a month in south Kihei in a great little condo complex right across from a really nice beach but for the life of me I can't remember the name. The price was very good and the location was excellent - just no or very little water view. It was right next door to Kamaole Sands I believe. I will keep seaching.
