Very few concerts sell out -- check the local newspapers when you arrive to see "who's playing, where?". Lots of good music at clubs and lounges.
Hawai`i Theatre is hosting "Les Ballets Trockadero" 1/23 & 1/24:

The Hawai`i State Art Museum is amazing...wide variety of artistic media and subjects. Also see the Honolulu Academy of Arts:

Another spot for cross referencing is http://www.blaisdellcenter.com/calendar/index.cfm but I *think* you need to choose a venue as there are different components to the Blaisdell Center--the arena and the theatre being your first choices.

There is usually Art in the Park or other craft shows on the weekend. Sometime around then is the Keiki Expo.

You may be there during Sunset on the Beach or Brunch on the Beach. I don't see the dates for Jan yet. http://www.co.honolulu.hi.us/moca/calendar/index.htm
