Commodore Hotel - Seattle

Is anyone familar with the Commodore. The location seems okay, and convenient - near Pike Street Market - but the prices are so low that one has to wonder what the catch is.

The catch is the location is rather seedy, lots of street life of the doubtful sort, few amenities, and a bad reputation (rhymes with bump.) For fewer dollars people have been hitting the Sheraton or Hyatt on Priceline.

Hi,
I live in Seattle and wouldnt recommmend that hotel. Try the Travelodge or Ramada. They have downtown locations.
The Pike Place Market is wonderful !!!

Try the Pacific Plaza on Spring Street if you're looking for a decent price in a nice location. Not at Pike Street market but about 7 blocks walk. This hotel is in a nice shopping/restaurant area that's safe at night.

Seedy. I stayed here with a boyfriend for a night, when his apartment was being painted. We were poor and needed something CHEAP. We got it. Scary bathroom floor. We broke the headboard, nobody noticed or cared.
