Clubs/Bars in the Disney Area

I'm going to Disney in a week or two to celebrate my friends 21st birthday, and we were looking for a place to go have a few drinks in the Disney area. We were planning on going to Downtown Disney's Pleasure Island, but it is supposedly closing at the end of this year. It would be great to find a place that also had dancing. Any suggestions?

There are still places to drink at Downtown Disney (where Pleasure Island is located), including Raglan Road (Irish pub), Bongo's Cuban Cafe, Planet Hollywood and House of Blues.

Over at Disney's Boardwalk Resort you might check out JellyRolls or the Atlantic Dance Hall.

Or you could go up to City Walk at Universal.

There's also an ESPN Club at the Boardwalk.

Drink your way through the countries of Epcot.

Another vote for "Drinking Around the World" at Epcot! Although keep in mind, Disney won't be too tolerant of sloppy-drunk guests, so if you want to do an "all-out" celebration for your friend's birthday, you'd probably be better off at one of the Downtown Disney restaurant/bars. If you're staying on Disney property, you can hop the free bus back to your hotel, no designated driver needed.
