Club rooms at Ritz Carlton, Naples

Hoping somebody could give me some feedback on the club level rooms at the Ritz Carlton in Naples (or the club level at any Ritz Carlton, for that matter). Thinking of spending a long weekend at the Ritz Carlton in Naples, and the club rate of $429 per night in mid-September actually seems like a bargain, considering that it includes the "five food presentations" (and the rate for a coastal-view room is $199). Is it a bargain? Is the food on the club level good? Are the rooms beautiful? This is a bit of a splurge for us, but it sounds like it might be fun. Our goals: Relax, eat well. By the way, we live in Florida, so we're well aware that weather could be a problem that time of year, and we really don't care if it rains, as long as there are no hurricanes. Thanks for your help.

LilMsFoodie just posted about this a couple days ago. She said that the club rooms were definitely worth the splurge. I tried to find the thread but couldn't.

Hurrican in Naples in September? Bite your tongue, davetroy!!

Ooops! Sorry about saying the "H" word.

I found LilMsFoodie's post. Thanks. I've also heard that the club level can get overrun with children, but I'm going to guess that's not a problem in mid-September.

Just wanted to make sure you're aware that there are 2 Ritz in Naples--one on the Gulf, and one on a golf course.

Yes, and what could be more confusing than the simple difference between "golf" and "gulf", especially when talking on the phone? I understand numerous people have ended up at the wrong place.

My wife and I are big Ritz fans and we always stay on the Club Level if possible. The rooms are no different than other rooms in their hotels but they offer much more private service as their is always someone to assist you with dinner reservations much like the Concierge does and they have several food presentations during the day to keep you full and happy. Also the drinks are free and I think the food and drinks make up for the extra charge. We have stayed in SF, NYC, Atlanta, Naples, Amelia Island, FL, Half Moon Bay, CA, New Orleans, Chicago, St. Thomas, Cancun and Laguna Beach. I highly recommend the Club Level at each RC.
