I am going to be in Florida in November and would like to spend a few days at Clearwater Beach, specifically Sunset Beach.
Can anyone give me a suggestion for a moderately priced hotel that is clean and in the area of Sunset Beach? Thanks so much.

What, in terms of actual dollars, do you consider "moderately priced"?

Do you need to be on or near the beach? If the latter, how far from beach are you willing be?

Sunset beach is about 20 miles south of Clearwater beach on Treasure Island. There are lots of hotels in Treasure Island but not a lot in sunset beach. We just spent a week there in July at a place called The Island Inn (https://www.islandinnresort.com). It is nothing fancy but it was clean enough (we actually rented through vrbo) but you can also rent directly from the resort. You can walk to many places including Caddys on the Beach. It is right on the beach.

I guess $200 or under. I was reading about Clearwater Beach and it is number 1 rated by Trip Advisor. Sunset Beach was mentioned but actually I don't know enough about the area to say it has to be there. Anywhere on Clearwater Beach would be fine. Maybe I was too specific with saying Sunset Beach.
