Clean comfortable inexpensive room with kitchenette

We have stayed at he Waikiki Prince Hotel in Waikiki in 2009 and were very happy with it . 2 weeks in February is 1499.00 so I am just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions comparable to this.
Thanks
Warren

Hawaii is significantly more expensive now than it was in 2009, and I don't think that's a very realistic price ($99 per night?). Have you checked for a condo rental? I think that's your best bet ... to rent a small studio apartment in Waikiki. Even then, I think that price is not even going to work unless you are far from the beach.

Have you looked on vrbo.com? You should be able to find a studio with kitchenette in Waikiki within that range as long as you don't need the amenities of a hotel.

I'd look into suze's suggestions. She's done a lot of research for affordable lodging in Waikiki.

I think those are the 2009 prices for Waikiki Prince, not the prices today (but perhaps it's a quote from Hotels.com or some other discount site). Right now, the price on the Waikiki Prince web site is over $200 a night in February, before taxes.

I'm still seeing 107 per night, Doug. Maybe you're looking at Hawaii Prince?

There are two different Waikiki hotels with the word "Prince" in their name.
