Chinatown Tours?
We will be in SF for 4 nights in June with our kids (age 9 and 13). I never thought about doing a tour of Chinatown, until a saw it mentioned several times on this board. We do enjoy learning about culture, history and love Chinese food. Is it worth taking a tour? We are not really big on being herded around with a large group of people.
I read about Wok Wiz tours on their websites. I guess I'm just interested in feedback from people to find out if it was interesting enough and you felt as though you got to see and experience things you wouldn't have seen on your own.
Thanks!

San Francisco City Guides offers free walking tours of Chinatown, along with about 35 other walks in various areas in The City. They're sponsored by the SF Public Library.
