Chicago this weekend. Should I...
...wear my mid-calf length wool coat with only a nylon lining or my mid-hip length leather coat with Thinsulate lining?
Hey, a lot of other people ask stupid "what should I wear" questions so thought I'd throw one out there.
Have a happy & safe Thanksgiving!

I would say leather, for the wind-resistance properties (although it IS nice to have something that covers one's butt...)
Also, it's not glam, but cover your ears! They're very vulnerable.
Enjoy -- it will be a nutty weekend here, with several thousand Radiologists descending on the city. Along with lots of Ioweegens in tour buses. Makes for an entertaining mix.
HTH,

Thanks all!
I haven't worn the wool one in a few years and just wasn't sure how warm it would keep me in cold, windy weather. I live in Colorado and although we get low temps it just doesn't seem as cold because of the dryness here.
I'm now ready for a weekend of hat hair, Radiologists and Ioweegens. (haha Took me a moment with the Ioweegens at first. I thought the first letter was an L & I was wondering what the heck a Loweegen was!)
Cheers!
