Chicago musicals
My husband and I are planning a trip to Chicago in mid-September to celebrate our anniversary. One thing that we would like to do while there is see a musical (touring Broadway show). From the research that I have done, it doesn't look like there will be any shows there when we are (Sept. 9-12). Does anyone know how far in advance those shows are booked into the theaters? I guess what I'm asking - is there a possibility that something may be playing that isn't advertised yet or am I probably out of luck?

check out theatermania.com( choose chicago in the drop down) there you should be able to find which one you want to see( as well as all the smaller shows in chiago). If tickets are not availabe you can use the last minute ticket options(I can't remember what they call or where you get them, but someone on this board should know) or go to a broker
www.ticketsnow.com can sell any tickets you want your just going to pay

The two sites that will give you the information you need are
broadwayinchicago.org and
chicagoplays.org
I didn't see any big musicals over that weekend, but some smaller ones like My Way and I Love You, You're Perfect - Now Change are continuing. Go to metromix.com or chireader.com for reviews.
