Chicago - Dinner tomorrow night
Let's hear your recommendations! It's been a while since we've been downtown; here are some specs:
Near N. Michigan/Rush area (we'll be at the Tremont, Delaware and Rush). Would like to find someplace with a bit of ambience (i.e., not too noisy, which lets out Heaven on Seven, for instance); how about under $60 for two drinks and dinner; no Mediterranean or sushi. Thanks!

If you think $60 will get each of you 2 drinks and dinner, it HAS been a while since you've eaten downtown ;-)
Kidding aside, how about Albert's Cafe and Patisserie? It's at 52 West Elm, and may be more of a lunch place, but they serve dinner, too, and great desserts.

Right - I knew $60 would make things a bit sticky, but thought I'd try. Kevin and Le Colonial both sound interesting; think I'll do some browsing and see what else I can learn about it. Had forgotten Bistro 110 and the Patisserie - nice places, both. Thanks for the ideas!

If you have not yet decided try looking at www.chireader.com and use the resturant search. Great website for resturants. it gives you a bunch of diner reviews and an average price per person.
