Check in for Interisland Flights
How far in advance do I need to be at the various airports for interisland flights?
HNL-OGG?
OGG-LIH?
LIH-HNL? And, if I reserve a flight that arrives in HNL at 2:19 p.m. that should give me plenty of time for my Delta flight to Atlanta which is at 3:30 p.m. right?
Bags will be checked straight thru.
7 more days to go!!!!!

90 minutes is the rule. I have been in some horrendous security lines in Maui. You should check with Delta regarding their check-in requirements. If the plane is full, you could risk losing your seat if you don't obey their check-in time rule. Personally, I think 60 minutes before a mainland flight is cutting it too close.

no Patty, you don't have to go through security again. Follow the signs to the main terminal or take the wiki-wiki. There is an agricultural inspection between the interisland and main terminal, but never a big line. The HNL security can be horrendous at times, so I would give myself at least 1.5 hours checking in at that airport if coming in from Waikiki or elsewhere on Oahu. You should be o.k. with your 2:19-3:30 flight if you check in with Delta at the gate, not the front check in counter (then you will have to go through security again)
