I am pretty certain that the rates don't really fluctuate over the time period you have listed. If you buy your tickets online, there is usually a small ($5?) discount and often they will offer a deal where you can get the audio headsets for the home tour (normally around $7 per set) at a discount or as part of the ticket price. Check their website and see if they are offering any specials for the dates of your trip.

I used to live in Asheville and never saw discounts, other than AAA and if you stay at their hotel. It's a great trip though, especially if the weather is nice and you can tour the gardens. Do get the audio tour, or you will miss most of the good stuff. Also recommend the "rooftop tour", which is extra but takes you to several rooms not seen by the general public in addition to the literal rooftop.

Carolina Mornings has $49 tickets that are good for 2 days instead of 1 like if you buy them at the gate - any reservation with them can buy tickets with that deal. at biltmore tickets usually hover around $50/day, go to http://www.biltmore.com/buy_tickets/admission.asp for specific daily rates. i know anyone under 16 is free til labor day this summer, don't know if you have kids coming with you but that's a pretty nice deal. enjoy your stay!
