Cheap breakfast around the NY Hilton

Does anyone have some suggestions for breakfast--bagels, diners, etc.-- in the area of the NY Hilton and Towers (6th and 53rd).

We plan on doing the Gray Line bus tour two morning, so someplace on the way to the pick up area would be okay, too.

There is a Pick-A-Bagel on the southwest corner of 57th and Seventh Avenue. You should find places for a quick breakfast with no problems.

There's a relatively new chain called Europe Cafe (or is it Europa Cafe?). They are quick as you get things at a counter, but they have seating. Wonderful fruit for breakfast, super pastries and bagels, and good coffees and lattes. There are a couple not far from the Hilton. They beat Starbucks (at least for the food items) by a mile. Where is the Gray Line pick up area?

Astro is on the northwest corner of 55th Street & 6th Ave. It's your standard NY coffee shop-diner kind of place. Good for breakfast or a burger.

If you cross 6th Ave you have a small bagel shop on the south side of 55th, about 3 or 4 stores down the block.

Au Croissant & Gourmet at 51 west 51 between 5th and 6th ave has bagels, muffins, scones, fruit, coffees, juices and more for breakfast. Order at the counter and carry out or sit down. They have nice inexpensive lunches too.

Right across the street from the parking garage entrance is a fabulous convenience store. Cheap breakfasts (eggs, bacon, home fries), fresh baked goods, everything! Clean seating area as well. They also have a terrific hot/cold buffet later in the day and late into the evening.
