Charleston B& B/hotels

Need advice for B & B or Hotels in charleston NC. Have never been but hear that it is a lovely city. Prefer under $400.00 in a quaint area. Any suggestions. this will
be next year in June

If I were you, I would go to Tripadvisor to narrow this down, then return here to ask if anyone has experience with the places you are interested in.

TA gives you lots of choices and lots of reviews. It will help you get a better idea of where you want to stay.

$400 will buy you a lot in Charleston, but it could also buy you a lot of disappointment if you don't do your homework.

Charleston is in SC, and for that amount you can stay at the VERY vERy best B&B, Two Meeting Street. None any better.

Stay in a 2-story "townhome" at the Andrew Pinckney Inn. Perfect location - very central on a quiet street. I find the places on busy Meeting Street a bit too noisy.

Much less than $400. Spend the savings on great dinners.

Brian, don't mistake Two Meeting Street for anything on "busy Meeting Street". It is on the Battery, and while I agree about spending the money "saved" on good dinners, if these folks budget covers TMS it would be a unique Charleston experience. And the budget still isn't met. also less than $400.
