If you're severely allergic, you may want to take something before flying ... what if the person on the previous flight had a cat in your very seat and you wouldn't know it? Could be awful if you're terribly allergic.

I am thinking along the same lines as Chicago Heather and because I said so....
My clothes must have cat hair or dander on them and my cat always rub against my purse. If you are seated near me for a few hours on a plane, would that affect a person who is allergic to cats?
I would definitely have some kind of "drug" with me to prevent a reaction.
