I read a review that you can't open the windows at Seven Gables at night and there is no AC. I don't know if I would be comfortable not being able to open a window. Does anyone know why you're not allowed to open the window?

Maybe you could contact them to ask. In the room photos online, some windows are opened, so maybe you could ask if this is allowed in certain rooms/buildings. We did open our windows at Tickle Pink Inn. Remember that you have to use your car to go anywhere (except next door to the restaurant/gift shop at the Hyatt) if you stay here. It was ok for us, just wanted to clarify.

We were in the Arbor Room, and the window opened. Call and ask, thew were so nice and helpful in trying to decide on which room I wanted.
