car rental in Boston
We will be staying at the Newbury Guest House in the Back Bay. On our check out date, on a Sunday, we need to rent a car to drive to RI. Is the airport the only place we can get a car on Sunday?

Are you renting RT or one-way. Sometimes in-city rental locations will not let you do a rental where you return the car anyplace else other than at that specific sight - even the airport. I am guessing it is not RT, since you say you are renting it on your check-out day.

Then check with in-town rental place to see if you can return their car to airport. If you can't, it is not that awful a trip to rent car at Logan airport and then drive to RI - would add about an hour to the day with rental car counter lines, etc., but not impossible

Recently got a good rate from National Car Rental in Cambridge. They let us return to the airport. From the "T" subway it was about a 6 blocks walk to National. A very COLD six blocks...but there is bus service we could have waited for instead.
