Car hire service from LGA?
I saw an ad online for a car hire service for about 30-40 bucks from LGA to soho.
Does anyone know of a car hire service that is about the same amount? Would it be best to just stick to a cab or a van shuttle?
I have a large suitcase and do not want to deal with a 26 incher on the subway.
thanks in advance

That's just about the right price for a car service into the city, there are several to choose from.
Try google for car service in NYC, and you should get several names.
I have used and recommend Dial7 and Televiv both were on time with professional drivers.
Since it is a set price for the ride, if you have not been to NYC before you might ask to take the Triborough Bridge, the ride will be longer but the views you get of Manhattan are breathtaking.

thank you so much, wantsomesun! I will definitely check them out. I know I will be tired coming in, and I just want to get to my hotel and go to sleep.
and then wake up and see all the beauty of the city!!

I'm curious why you want a car service rather than just take a taxi? There have been numerous stories of people having to call the car service and wait and wait for them to arrive. There are always lots of taxis, and somebody correct me if I'm wrong as I've never taken one to Soho (rather than midtown), but I really don't think the taxi will be any more than a car service.

Agree with Patrick that unless you're arriving in rush hour or are part of group of more than 4 people, a taxi is the easiest option from LGA and will cost about the same. The car services ask you to phone them once you've got your bags and you may have to wait.
