February is quite here. It is a great place to bring the family and get away from the hustle and bustle. For February the average high is 67 and average low is 53. You can check out the temperatures year round at http://www.coastalrealtyinfo.com/Tem...e_2005735.html

Hey cd, get over here!!!

The cape is quiet ALL the time. That's why some of us love it so.

Wild? In what way? Wildlife maybe, but not night life, that's for sure!

Enjoy the cape if you go. It's one of my favorite places in Florida.

Hi Starrs!

Maribeth, we are at the Cape now and today it was a high of 47. Sunny with a wind of 7 out of the west nw. The country is in a deep freeze. We are hoping for warmer weather and they are forcasting 58-60 on Wednesday. As Starrs said, it is quite here, we are on the beach and see very little activity. We walk the beach for miles and encounter but a few other couples. Most of the people here in Feb are northeners like us who like 60 degrees and no snow, sunshine and oysters! It is the oyster capital of the world. We have fresh shrimp all the time and tonight we are having fresh flounder. Our entertainment is walking the beach, reading, watching spectatular sunsets, and seeing the ocean from every window in the house. The Cape is for those who want to relax and just be with nature. Of course the hot tub and wine are important also

I love quiet, walks, no action, nature and all that but prefer it all at 80 degrees, like further south.

"Further south" in Florida isn't experiencing 80 degrees

While the Cap San Blas area is beautiful, it can be quite cold there. The average daytime temperature in the Cap San Blas area is 64 degrees and the average night time temp is 41....sub freezing temperatures are not unusual in Jan/Feb. Here is a credible link: http://countrystudies.us/united-states/weather/florida/
