Cape Cod - Best Eats & Beaches in Brewster?
After many summer vacations on the Cape, this year we are staying in Brewster for the first time. I'd love to hear about your favorite places for fried clams, ice cream, chowder, and any place with nice water views. Oh, and a bakery? We have 3 kiddies under 5 so I'm also looking for your favorite beaches for the toddler set. Not sure if we should get the Brewster beach pass for a week or hop around to Dennis, etc. and just pay by the day. Any other can't miss places to visit in Brewster? We look forward to this week all year long - thanks for helping us make it a great one!

I asked my friend who raised three kids in Brewster and he said Paines Creek is the best beach for little ones. Quote "you can watch the kids and face the sun at the same time". It's tidal with lots of little sea creatures that come and go with the tides. Also, Grumpy's is great for breakfast.
I know a couple of posters have homes in Brewster....hope they see your post.

We do have several posters with homes in Brewster, so hopefully, they will see this.
I do know, any beach on the Cape Cod Bay side are great for toddlers, and they love low tide, when they can explore the flats to their hearts content. There is a wonderful bookstore, on 6A, which has a story hour, and a pajama hour one evening a week. You might go to the Brester Chamber's website, and I'm sure they will give you much information. Another soiurce would be to go to the Explore New England site, on Boston . com. Click on Cape Cod, the then the town. There has been much written recently about the attractions in this part of the Cape. As you know, each town has it's favorites!
