Sorry, not to move the topic away from Cannon Beach, but "uuuhhh" what is your problem? I clicked on this to read more about Cannon Beach for our next tri there, but obviously yesterday's suggestions from others and myself to get yourself a life didn't get through. The focus here is travel. Not other posters. I, of course, am breaking this rule to respond to your endless harassment of Kim, but I thought I would give it one last shot before ignoring you as Kim does and rightfully so. Stop obsessing over where another poster is from and what he/she does. What does it matter? All I want as I read this board is someone who has been to a specific destination with points to offer about it. You are creating a negative tone on the board that will discourage others from posting and it does nothing to add to the board. Find somewhere else to vent your negative attitudes and stop picking on people and stalking their posts.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll continue to read through the board to pick up some travel tips for future trips which is what this board is for.

no offense intended to you Capt... and i may have gotten a little carried away with kim... but my intent was to advise others that she has been shown to be less than truthful about where she's been and hasn't been. as you rightly say, advice given on this board should be based on personal experience.

Capt Canuk: Many of us have actually travelled to the places and write our recommendations based on our experiences. Others make up things. Choose the one you wish to rely upon, but please don't get upset when those in the know try to warn others.
