Can I get trip insuracne to cover a missed Vegas show?
We have "O" tickets for 3.5 hours after our flight is scheduled to land in Vegas. Since we are coming from the East Coast & have to change plans in Dalles, I am beginning to panic about making it in time for the show -especially in light of today's computer break down. We will only be in Vegas two days & "O" is dark the 2nd day. Can I get trip insurance to cover such a contingency?

Trip insurance normally does not cover things like show tickets.
It will be a bit nervewracking, but you should be able to make it.
Are you seeing the early or late show? If you have tickets to the early show and call the box office they MIGHT be able to exchange those for tickets to the late show. No promises, but Las Vegas is all about customer service.
Things you will want to know to save time:
Baggage claim at McCarran takes a long time. A 30 minute wait once you get to the carousel is considered good. If you can get everything you need in a small carry-on, do it.
Plan on the taxi line to take at least 30 minutes, too. Depending upon day, time of day, and conventions/special events, and how many planes have just landed it can take over an hour (worst case scenario). I've also been able to walk right up and get a taxi.
When time is tight, I reserve a limo ahead of time so that it is waiting for me when I get to the airport.
Good Luck,
Mark

Completely agree, order a car service. Also, if you are not staying at the Bellagio and plan on checking in before the show, arrange for the driver to wait for you while you check in and then take you over to the Bellagio. Cab lines at some hotels can take up to an hour at times. And give yourself plenty of time to get from your hotel to the Bellagio - it takes forever to get anywhere in Vegas (traffic, driveways back up, long walks after you get into the building).

If you booked your tickets through an agency and then got their INS, the total of your trip would be covered, but if you bought INS on your own and bought tix a la carte, I am not sure if a trip delay would cover that. Worth asking, but you need to ask the INS people.
