camelback-reserve spa now?
Hello, I am going to the Camelback Inn in mid March with my three college roomates (we graduated over 10 years ago..this isn't spring break ;-)) We got the Spa escape package and I am wondering if we need to book the spa treatments now or can we wait until we get to the hotel and see how we feel?
Thanks in advance,
Lara

I can't help with specifics to Camelback, but I do go on spa trips with girlfriends every year. We always book our spa appts ahead of time. That way we are able to get our treatments at the same time so that we can go do all the other stuff together as well.

We have gone to quite a few places, but so far our two favorites are SunRiver Resort in central Oregon and Red Mountain Spa in Utah. I am headed back to Red Mountain next week for our trip. We usually do the SunRiver spa trip in November when it is sort of inbetween the summer rush and the winter skiing season, so the place is very quiet. Perfect for a girls week trip! Red Mountain we have been in October, and of course now in January. One year there were 13 of us from all over the country that met up there for a week.
I think once you go, you will definitely make it an annual thing. BTW, all these trips are with old college friends(sorority sisters), but we are older than you. Get that annual tradition going now and enjoy many years of it!

Yes, definitely book now, the appointment times you want may not be availible when you get there and there are also corporate events on the weekends that may include group spa treatments. I love the Camelback, try to go there every summer because the deals are so good.
One word of caution, when you call to make your appointment ask to have a room that is not near the women's pool. The rooms are not soundproofed enough and the noise can ruin your spa treatment, be sure to ask before you book
Hope this helps and have a great trip
