We spent the day in Cambria on Sat. It was wonderful! A few of the things we enjoy doing in the area are:

Lounging on Moonstone Beach with a good book
Shopping in the Village at Seeker's for glass art
Antiquing (there is a mall there)
Enjoy oceanfront dining at Moonstone Bar & Grill and the Sea Chest for great seafood
Romantic dining by the fire at Sow's Ear Cafe (salmon in parchment paper is excellent)
Enjoying Tea at the Tea Cozy
Linn's Bakery for chicken pot pies and ollalieberry goodies
Walking along Moonstone Beach on the gorgeous walking paths (great for photos of the sunset)
Staying in Inns along Moonstone Beach (Fireside Inn, the Blue Whale Inn & Cypress Cove are a few of our favorites)
Wine tasting at Fermentations

Have a wonderful time in Cambria. Of course, the obvious Hearst Castle a few minutes away in San Simeon is an obvious "don't miss" Enjoy your trip! ***kim***

To which I might add that Sow's Ear restaurant is probably the best place to eat in Cambria, and the most spectacular sight (aside from the castle) is the sea lions that hang out about 12 miles north--right on the highway.

Happytrailstoyou, was that a nice response that you made to xkenx? Patrick has been banned for being rude...it seems to me that your response to xkenx was rude although you did post a nice comment later.

I just don't get the moderators/ monitors, take on who gets banned and who doesn't.

Hi happy! We've always had great meals at the Sow's Ear. I've also heard the Black Cat Bistro is VERY good, have you been there? Another place for xkenx to check into possibly. ***kim***

**Kim**I haven't been to Black Cat Bistro, but I'll check it out the next time I'm in Cambria. Thanks for the suggestion.

LoveItaly, I'm sorry if I slipped up, but I thought I was opening an avenue of investigation of which xkenx was apparently unaware.
