California Central Coast GTG

laurenzo and I would like to have a Fodor's GTG here on the Central COast of California... so who will be in this area this fall... and who already is close enough to come anytime if schedules permit?

I'm thinking October... maybe an early Saturday afternoon?

Where's the Central Coast? San Francisco? Faina will most likely be there.

the Central Coast is considered to be from Santa Barbara up to Cambria or so, but, hey, it can go all the way up the coast!!

Hello, Budman, my geography deprived friend San Francisco is the proud northerly neighbor of the Central Coast. Most likey I won't make it!

(don't you love when others make decisions for you? or is it a ride offer?)

Hey, I can take the train to San Jose! Then it should be a weekend lunch GTG

so GP, do tell where it officially starts and ends because I really don't know. I know my "area" is referred to as the central coast but maybe it's larger than I realize.

Well I would love to come to your GTG. I need to come up that way for work so I could stay over on a Friday night. BTW, I am going to be posting my daughter's trip report to Solvang either today or tomorrow. She had such a good time that I am anxious to visit myself.

Faina-take the train down to SLO and I'll pick you up. That way you can come to the GTG. Oh yea, I forgot, you've had your fill of trains for awhile! Seriouly, though, it would be fun.
