California Central Coast GTG

laurenzo and I would like to have a Fodor's GTG here on the Central COast of California... so who will be in this area this fall... and who already is close enough to come anytime if schedules permit?

I'm thinking October... maybe an early Saturday afternoon?

Budman Aug 28th, 2006 06:09 AM

Where's the Central Coast? San Francisco? Faina will most likely be there. :-) ((b))

laurenzo Aug 28th, 2006 07:13 AM

the Central Coast is considered to be from Santa Barbara up to Cambria or so, but, hey, it can go all the way up the coast!!

FainaAgain Aug 28th, 2006 07:33 AM

Hello, Budman, my geography deprived friend ;) San Francisco is the proud northerly neighbor of the Central Coast. Most likey I won't make it!

(don't you love when others make decisions for you? or is it a ride offer?)

Hey, I can take the train to San Jose! Then it should be a weekend lunch GTG :(

GP Aug 28th, 2006 08:30 AM

Don't get me started on where the central coast ends and the real north coast starts!!

FainaAgain Aug 28th, 2006 12:41 PM

and... will topping help?

Maybe we can do it end of Nov/beginning of Dec so ***kim*** can show us all of her yummy places? :-?

laurenzo Aug 28th, 2006 03:57 PM

so GP, do tell where it officially starts and ends because I really don't know. I know my "area" is referred to as the central coast but maybe it's larger than I realize.

ttt- anyone going to be in our area??

paula1470 Sep 26th, 2006 07:51 AM

Well I would love to come to your GTG. I need to come up that way for work so I could stay over on a Friday night. BTW, I am going to be posting my daughter's trip report to Solvang either today or tomorrow. She had such a good time that I am anxious to visit myself.

FainaAgain Sep 26th, 2006 08:50 AM

Paula, I'd love to read about Solvang! Cute village! and I loved the souvenirs!

paula1470 Sep 26th, 2006 09:21 AM

Faina-take the train down to SLO and I'll pick you up. That way you can come to the GTG. Oh yea, I forgot, you've had your fill of trains for awhile! Seriouly, though, it would be fun.

Paula, I have been looking forward to your daughter's trip report. It would be great if you made it up this way!!
