Cabins in Healy Denali
Hello All.
Anyone have any news, advice, experience of Park's Edge Cabins in Healy?
McKinley Creekside Cabins?
Healy Heights Family Cabins?
Looking for cabin experience for 2 nites while visiting Denali and have self-transport. Unable to stay at amazing lodging options deep in Denali like NorthFace Lodge, etc but would prefer simple, clean cabins to hotels or b&b. All suggestions welcome, prefer <$200/cabin.
Many thanks

We stayed at Carlo Creek Lodge, 15 minutes south of Denali park entrance. Beautiful quiet area with nice log cabins and a creek running by. An advantage of staying south of the entrance is you don't have to drive through the Glitter Gulch mess. Traffic might be bad in the summer in that corridor.
We stayed in a fairly new log cabin with a shared bath--actually 1 full bath per cabin but they're grouped together and only steps away from our cabin. Extremely clean and pleasant, and it's such a bargain!

We just returned July 21st. We recommend Earthsong Lodge in Healy. We stayed in a standard cabin, very clean and nicely furnished. The cabin sis have a coffee pot and a small couch. The cost was $135.00 per night. They do have some larger cabins. We enjoyed this area, lovely views. In addition, Jon gave his guests a tour of his sled dogs. We also enjoyed the on site coffee house.
