Cab ride from BART to Columbus Inn

Would anyone know the price of a cab ride from the Montgomery BART station to the Columbus Inn for 2 people?
Would an Airport Shuttle be a better choice if trying to get to the SFO by say 6:00AM?

Are you considering to use a Mapquest on distance and have the math yourself with start price + per 1/8th mile price.

Also you ask from the thrid party for an advise on some cost made by a TAXI company. You calling them straight away for right info. can be only best way for knowing.

In doing a little research on Travel Advisor, someone mentioned that a cab ride could cost about $10-$12 from the Montgomery BART station to the Columbus Motor Inn. Another mentioned that after getting off the BART, then cabs charge a Flat fee. What would that mean?

The Columbus Inn is on Lombard, which is a very busy street. Someone will probably come up with a means of public transportation for you (Faina?).

I recall that you had three hotel choices. Why are you choosing the one with free parking if you do not plan to have a car?

Actually ET, Columbus Motor Inn is on Columbus. Not too far from Fisherman's Wharf.

Definitely take the BART+cab option, not the airport shuttle option. The BART is very reliable and on time.

The airport shuttle needs to pick up other passengers to fill up the van and uses HWY 101S, which can be pretty busy even before 6am!

I personally would pay for a cab particularly at that time of the morning. I know on other posts you say you tire easily so why drag your luggage through BART.
