Burlington NC restaurants

Does anyone know of a good restaurant in Burlington, North Carolina? I am looking for something very nice, suitable for a celebration dinner, not a barbeque or fish fry place. Any ideas?

I posted a reply to this question earlier. I don't think you will find anything like what you are seeking in Burlington. I suggest you consider going to Greensboro or Chapel Hill, both of which have a number of excellent restaurants suitable for celebration meals.

Sorry, cmcfong. When I checked I could find neither my original question nor your original answer. That's why I posted it again. Thanks for the response. Since it sounds as if you are familiar with the area, do you know anything about B. Christophers restaurant? It came up on some list as a possibility, but I really couldn't tell if it was suitable. thanks

I know the search function on this site is "whimsical" at best, so no problem. I don't know B.Cristophers, sorry.

Hmmm. Well, I happen to work in Burlington but unfortunately don't live here. Nothing comes to mind right away. I will ask around and see if I can find anything for you. Are you looking for something for a specific type of celebration? Group? Couple?

The only place I can think of is "The Cutting Board." It's been around since about the beginning of time.

I asked around a little. It seems B. Christopher's is considered the best in Burlington. I have not eaten there. If you could send me a check, I will glad to try it out for you : ). If you just want fine dining in the area though, I too would suggest you go to either Chapel Hill, Durham, or Greensboro. This link might help you. http://www.restaurants.com/US/Review...362221177&Pg=1
