Which buffet do you recommend for
excellent food and huge selection?

For value and selection, my choice is the buffet at the Main Street Station. The Paradise buffet at the Fremont is also respectable but has gone down in quality th epast few years.
The seafood buffet at the Rio is also excellent. The Carnival buffet gets rave reviews and has a good variety, but I feel the quality is poor.
There are many websites reviewing variuos aspects of Las Vegas. Check out the Las Vegas Review/Journal's site.

My personal internet survey showed the Rio buffet won hands down- When I went I didn't see the Seafood buffet, its was lots of everything. The Mexican restaurant upstairs is excellent too.

For selection, the Rio has the largest. My personal favorite for Seafood is the little known Frontier on Fridays. You can't go wrong for $10.95. Plus the prime rib is excellet!

Hi! I ate at Phaoroh's Pheast at the Luxor and was very impressed by the service, selection and cost. We ate until we couldn't walk. I think most hotels have great buffets. We stayed at the Las Vegas Hilton and they have great restaurants as well.

I lived there for 5 years and I agree the Rio is outstanding and even with a crowd they move it through very quickly. If you're downtown on Fremont Street, the Golden Nugget has an excellent buffet also.

THE RIO IS FABULOUS!! A DEFINITE 5 STAR RATING. WE ALSO TRIED MANY OTHERS BUT THIS IS THE ONE WORTH THE MONEY, ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIKE SEAFOOD.

The night we went in April, the Rio Carnival Buffet was excellent.The Fiesta also has a less well-known but highly rated (by locals) buffet. The food was delcious, but the wait was horrendous--on a line in a smoke-filled casino. We didn't have bad food anywhere in Vegas. The city is so much fun, even the fast food places seem better than at home.

We tried the Mirage, and it was very good.
Don't eat at The Excalibur buffet, it was
terrible. Also, when we went to Las Vegas
last year, I purchased a Entertainment book.
THere are tons of coupons in the book for
buffets (buy one get one free.) The Rio is
in the book, and the Mirage. Plus there are
coupons for attractions and many restaurants
(which are a nice change from the buffets.)
It is worth it to purchase the book if you are
going to be in Vegas for at least five days.

The Rio Suites buffet is the way to go! Any cuisine you can think of is represented there. Form hot dogs to sushi! And the cocktails are only $1.00!

The Rio has a great variety...The lines are often long, however, so be prepared to wait. Also, the quality is sometimes not as one would hope.

The various "Station" casinos (Palace Station,
Boulder Station, etc.) all have good, reasonably-priced buffets.

I've heard that the Luxor buffet is good, but haven't tried it myself. The Excalibur's is strictly ordinary, but the price is reasonable.

Uncontestably the best buffet in Las Vegas is Bally's Sterling Brunch on sundays. Still a bargain at fifty bucks, and you know that's quite a statement when talking about Las Vegas. We're talking french champagne, good caviar, smoked fish,finest tenderloin, etc....I gotta go eat now..
