HI! Any recommendations for a good tour providing the history of Brooklyn? A wallking tour would be preferable.
Please also share your reccomendations for a good jazz tour in NYC.

I went on a terrific tour of Jazz at Lincoln Center (located in Time Warner building, not on the Lincoln Center campus), but it was sponsored by Open House NY which is held on a weekend every October. I'm not aware of JAL offering their own tours, but you can call them.
I would definitely suggest going to a performance in one of the several venues at JAL. They're wonderful. And all the venues were built specifically for jazz with great acoustics.

For jazz tours contact Gordon at http://bigapplejazz.com
He's been doing them forever and he really knows what's possible in NYC.
