Lissa - two musicals that are dramatic and definitely different are "Happiness" at Lincoln Center and "Next to Normal" on Broadway. "Next to Normal" is a 'rock' musical about a bipolar mother and her family - it's a bit intense. For more traditional drama, I would recommend "August: Osage County." There's a reason it won the Pulitzer.

I booked tix for Augustsage COunty for DD and I. Pretty good seats but looks like the theatre is small and any seat would be good. Thanks for the ideas.
