Breakfast on Sunday

I have posted before about needing a nice( not too fancy) breakfast place near Radio City. There will be around 10-12 of us. I have checked out the few suggested before, but for a variety of reasons they did not work out. I would be most greatful if anyone has any suggestions.A garden would be exceptional, but I guess I can't be too picky. Thanks so much

Well - what places were suggested and why didn;t they work out - budget? menu? timing? location? Otherwise we may just be reapeating the same info.

And I'm not aware of any place near Radio City with a garden. The cafe in Bryant Park is the closest - but it's just outdoors - not an actual garden (of which there are very few in midtown Manhattan).

And when will this be happening (it may be too cold or too hot for outdoor dining).

For a group like that you couldn't do better than the daily breakfast buffet at Oceo, 49th between 8th and Broadway. It's about $14.95 a person and served from 7 to 10:30 or so. Like a really classy brunch, but strictly breakfast items.

Another thought is Maison at the corner of Broadway and 54th (?) which has a large outdoor space.

In either case, I'm sure you'll call in advance to ask about a group that size.

Hmm. And I see you posted before about brunch. What time are you thinking of and what price range? I sense those two issues may have caused you to say breakfast instead of brunch.

The Bryant Park Cafe would be the closest to a garden near Radio City.

Depending on when you're doing this, the Rockefeller Center Cafe has outdoor tables where the ice rink is in the winter.

The new Brasserie Ruhlmann in Rockefeller Center might work.
