Breakfast food

What's the best stop for breakfast in the wacker/loop/downtown area? I'm burned out on Corner bakery and yet don't want to make a huge production of breakfast. Any hot tips for a nice start to the day.

Jamba Juice! They are smoothies in so many different flavors and they come with a "boost" like protein or energy. Very good breakfast and filling too!

If it's muffins/pastries that you're after try Au Bon Pain. There are several locations throughout the loop.

And if Krispy Kremes do it for you there's a location opened on Jackson recently.

The only way we'd know you put it in the "IL/chicago forum" is if we searched using Illinois. There's no IL Forum. All posts appear on the US forum, where we all hang out. You'll notice that is why MOST people put the name of the city in the TITLE. get it?

One thing that you could do (and I have done this many times) is just walk into the Embassy Suites Hotel, and go back and get in line and have breakfast just as if you were staying there. They never ask for roonm keys or ID and it is an easy, free, and very good breakfast. This also works in the evenings for free drinks, they never check anything. Just walk in and drink up.

What type of food are you looking for? There is a Bake for Me! Bakery & Café at 350 N. Clark. offering breakfast items such as bagels, scones, muffins and cinnamon rolls. . . .will this work or would you like soemthing more like pancakes, omlettes, etc.?
