bradley airport

we are flying out of bradley in 2 week and would like to know if any one can suggest a place to stay (cheap but nice) maybe with an option to park. Has anyone used the Bradley international airport inn?

I have stayed at the Sheraton that is in the airport and really liked being so close, especially now that they ask you to come so early. you can also check out http://www.parksleepfly.com/ and choose Hartford Bradley- BDL for their options. I haven't used them myself but have heard good things.
-good luck

Much better rates at Baymont Inn & Suites located on Ella Grasso Blvd. about 1/2 mile from terminal. Free parking for a week included and free shuttle to and from airport. Continental breakfast as well.

The only thing going for Bradley International is that their park and fly is good for up to 30 days where most others are only good for one week. People with families like it because you can sleep 5 (one bedrrom and then a bed and single sofa for sleeping in the outer room. Halls are dingy and dirty, all walls are cinderblock, rooms have exposed pipes, towels are small and thin enough to read a book through. Ramada has a park and fly package but is not great either. Baymont is a much better choice.

just stayed at the new-ish Hilton Garden Inn a couple of miles from the airport. There was an internet rate of $49 most nights but i don't know if it's still valid. Although it is a Garden Inn (6 story hotel, not a motel or anything like that), rather than a 'regular' Hilton, The facilities were excellent (including a nice pool, and a 24 hour 'business center' with free computer/internet access), it is immaculate has an elegant lobby with fireplace, and the only distinction between that and a Hilton proper was a smaller check- in desk and the fact that the only [simple] restaurant was also in the lobby. Don't know about long term parking--I suppose you'd have to use a regular airport long term lot. There was also a Courtyard by Marriott and a 'regular" Marriott across the street from this hotel, probably all about a 10-15 minute drive from the airport

Why do you want to stay near the airport?

I've stayed at Baymont Suites too, very nice place. Found that it cost less to stay there using a coupon from RoomSavers and paying to park at an off-airport lot just down the street. It was in the winter, and didn't wish to face a snowstorm just before the flight and be late.

There are plenty of other hotels and motels along the I-91 corridor, and several off-site parking lots - one with enclosed parking.

Try getting a price from airportparkinglots.com then compare that with a hotel with an option to park. I read about that site here and saved money using it at Bradley.

I wouldn't recommend the Bradley Int. Airport Inn. Last time I stayed there the lock on my door was worn and flimsy and it's kind of dingy there. There are plenty of other options. I would check with AAA for recommendations.
