Inakauaidavidababy and travelgourmet, I really appreciate your feedback and concern. I can tell that you are not only Boston’s experts but also you like to help people. Thank you both.
I did my best researching the location and reading reviews about the property and it seems safe and convenient, literally across the road from the Park st station. I do expect to pass some homeless in downtown area but this will not bother me because usually they are harmless especially in the tourist places.
Thanks OverIt for the post and links. Sure they will help us when we are there.

As far as meeting down on their luck folks and panhandlers, I like to fill my pockets with all spare change and a few dollar bills, that way I'm not leaving myself vulnerable by opening my purse. It's a two second gesture.
You're going to have a fabulous time. And if you like the mention of Marliaves, a very historic room, and you like oysters make sure to visit during their oyster happy hour.

I've been to Boston a week ago, my DH and I stayed at Double Tree Club ( here is the full name https://hotellook.com/hotels/double-...bayside-217144 and prices from different providers ). I think it is perfect if you don't want to overpay and live in comfort. It is considered to be 3***, but I felt like it is a good 4**** hotel.
