Boston hotel help

We will have one nite in Boston following a cruise. So, we'll be going from the dock (Black Falcon) to the hotel to the airport the next afternoon. And wanting to spend a nice evening in Boston. I'll be trying for Priceline, so what's the most convenient location for me to choose?

Do you want to be close to pier or close to activity of Boston? For a nice evening in Boston location, expand choices to include Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market, Back Bay, Copley areas. either way, it will work - and distances are not that great, but you probably would not want to walk it.

On the map that is unique to Priceline, the Downtown aera includes the Faneuil Hall/Quincy Marketplace area and even spreads past the Public Garden into the eastern part of Back Bay/Copley. Then they have a zone called Copley that starts at Berkeley Street and goes into the South End and almost all the way to Northeastern U.

I agree that this "Copley" area would also be appropriate.
